Une grande maison seigneuriale du 15e siècle à Dieulefit, dans la Drôme provençale. Deux de ses annexes sur jardin sont en ruine, une troisième menace à son tour. Ces bâtisses sont à cheval entre un jardin haut et une venelle en contrebas. Les propriétaires décident de stopper le processus de détérioration. Nous proposons d’installer une piscine dans les ruines existantes, et de réaménager en fonction le bâtiment subsistant. Ainsi positionnée, la piscine ne dénature pas le jardin en espalier et permet un contrôle d’accès très simple, en évitant la clôture.

A large 15th-century Seigniorial manor in Dieulefit in the heart of the French “Drôme Provençale”. Two of its annexes are now abandoned ruins, while a third is close to ruin. These are situated in-between a garden above and an alley below. The landlords decided to stop the process of deterioration. The project is to position a swimming pool within the ruined buildings, and to renovate the subsisting one in accordance with the program. This transformation would not distort the exciting program, with the terraced garden and make access secure without fencing the pool.
